Want to really know the in's and out's of a model helicopter? The Shop and Field Companion will show you what it's all about! The first seven chapters go over all the basic theory. If you're going to be successful with model helicopters, you've got to know how they work!
The middle chapters of the book show you how to build and set up a helicopter with tender loving care. With your ship built and properly set up, it's time to fly!
The last 13 chapters show you how to get flying successfully. And if you crash, the priorities of rebuilding your ship are all listed. Finally, if you run into a problem, we've got a complete chapter on troubleshooting. Best of all, the information in the book blends in perfectly with the DVDs. Let the DVDs show you how to do it in a visual format, then round-out the rest of your knowledge with the additional information that's in the book.
I just got and watched all of your DVD set. Must say: Veeeery useful. Especially in areas like mine where there is no experienced R/C heli pilot in a 500 mile radius, and when you are on your own. I read your book, which is good, read many posts on RunRyder, but there is nothing comparable when you see and hear heli flying. There are things you didn't even mention on your DVD, but watching you work on heli there are many tips and tricks to learn. I find this series useful and I will recommend them!

I already have your book,'Rays Authoritative Helicopter Manual' and 'Rays Authoritative DVD Series Vol 1-3'. They have helped me so much and have easily paid for themselves ten times over. I would recommend them to anyone who's into RC heli's. In fact, I think that they should be compulsory reading! Many thanks.
I bought your book. Also the 1st edition. Upon other peoples, advise I bought the JR 9303. I had wanted a Raptor, and boom, I got one with $800.00 worth of stuff just days ago. The poor fella was just overwhelmed with the complexity.I was thinking the same thing could happen to me. Not now. Your book is great. Your DVD is great. I can hardly wait for your next one. Thank you! Thank You!
